    Young multipliers as ambassadors of the prevention of violence the exchange of experiences in the project getting to know other organizations, other youngsters beiing involved in another project for a short time perceiving of other life circumstances getting to know a perception from outside. creating a video production about the visited organization duration:

Innovative Aspects of JUMIGG

 

The project is innovative by combining two phases in which young people could participate strongly: in the theoretical training phase and then in the other multipliers phases, where the young people could bring the learned content in a highly participatory manner.

It is therefore an "empowerment" movement in the classical sense and in the international perspective of five international organizations working with young people.

Ethical issues

 

An ethical issue would be linked with the role change for young people: that is, where we could see if we work with young people truly sustainable, that is not that we throw in a spontaneous emotional process of change, but that we care for them and we are for their long term support, so that a gradual change of role concepts and also time for integration into this new process is possible. Here we have besides the structure of the programme the professional support of a coach and supervisor to assist.

Documentation and dissemination of the project

 

As a direct target group young people are often in contact with us concerning the project, it has already been discussed with the youngsters, and we had seen some young people interested in the project.

As further dissemination level we could see the multipliers stages where we thought about integrating 1200 young people per organisation.

By Street work events (topics could include: sports, concerts against violence) are integrated again more young people into the project.

Then we will link our website with relevant organizations, and especially the social networking sites (Facebook) will help us to document the project well and also integrate the young people actively in the communication. Here it is planned under the auspices of the Multicultural Network to create a Facebook group and then fill with the other participating organizations together with content.

In addition, there will be a final presentation in which we have created the youth DVD, presenting a kind of annual report and a brochure. Then there will be a total of two press conferences on the topic of participation in youth work.

Dated on the first kick off meeting, if the delegations of the other organizations are in Vienna, and a second maybe during the interim meeting to complete the project.

 

 
On the sustainability of the project

 

On one hand it is planned to motivate young people who showed in the project fun and interest to make an education in the direction of youth work. There would be in Vienna two ways: firstly, the FH for social work and the other the basic course / advanced course structure at the IFP and then to go into the youth work and thus to allow a complete change of perspective of young people.

On the other hand, we will seek to further funding to continue the project on successful implementations. We see towards this funding quite positively, because once built an innovative participatory project in such a structure, it would be a pity to let seek this project then after two years of successful run time.

On the other hand we are working with youngsters in the framework of organisations so this means that not a youngster could get in the situation of feeling let down after the two years of JUMIGG because of in this two years the youngster won't let down the contact to the youth workers of the youth work organisation from that he came. In fact it is planned to intensify the contact with the youth workers of this organisations during the two years of project also via the project JUMIGG.
